| Dear Hunyuan Tai Chi disciples and practicers, The year 2008 is highly exceptional for Chinese people; suffered from the enormous natural calamities, we are going to welcome Olympics, the grand ceremony of the world. What we came through and what we await for its arrival, should strongly testify to us again that the life and health of human being are the most precious on the earth. And we should go on to do our best to spread Hunyuan Tai Chi for the health of the livings. Here we would like to give you some information about Hunyuan Tai Chi in this and next years. 1, Hunyuan Tai Chi Development Conference was held not long before in Beijing, by the Beijing Hunyuan Tai Chi Development Center. An important resolution was made by the conference: the 2nd International Hunyuan Tai Chi Convention will hold in May, 2009, in Suzhou city of China. We would like to take this event as the engine to promote the development of Hunyuan Tai Chi through the world. 2, we hope that Hunyuan Tai Chi disciples and their groups could take this event as a concernful matter for their work plan, and by this to inspirit the local activities of Hunyuan Tai Chi. We sincerely express our welcome to all Hunyuan disciples and practicers if they could come to China to take part in the 2nd convention in the next year. 3, some programs should be newly added onto the 2nd convention, such as Push-hand performance, treatise competition etc. The programs will be planed and organized professionally and we will offer better service to all participators. The first bulletin will be issued very soon to our disciples and their groups. Mrs. Feng Xiufang with other leaders had gone to Suzhou city for confirming the site of the 2nd convention. In fact the preparation in all sides has started already. 4, Beijing Zhiqiang Wushu Academy will hold courses after the 2nd convention, from the elementary to the senior, also course for Hunyuan Tai Chi coach. Besides, there might be several tour lines through China after the 2nd convention, if there are enough demands on this. Please do your plan with such conditions as early as possible. If you have any propose or demands, let us know earlier.
6, by the way, GM Feng Zhiqiang, the founder of Hunyuan Tai Chi, has been authorized as the person with the 9th Duan of the Chinese Martial Arts, the highest rank of the series, by Chinses Wushu Association during its assessing work nationally, which finished three months before.
